Apart from the amazing Geneva landmarks, there is one more fascinating reason to visit Geneva in Switzerland. Every year Geneva hosts an annual International Geneva Motor Show (Salon International de l’auto) in the month of March. Since 1905, the enthusiasts from all over the world have been visiting Geneva to witness one of the top events worldwide and satiate the machine lovers in them.
I being from a mechanical background and a great craze for cars have attended it both the years of my stay in Geneva. This year was the 86th Geneva International Motor Show and displayed a wide range of luxury sports cars, new models, and prototypes. We thought to give the motor fanatics in you a sneak peak of our visit from this year’s show. Here’s a quick rundown of some of them –
Geneva Motor Show – Luxury Dream Sports Cars
Lamborghini Centenario, a limited edition mid-engine sports car commemorating founder Ferruccio who would have turned 100 this year.
Bugatti CHIRON, fastest and the most expensive car!
JAGUAR F-Type SVR 4×4 displays that it can accelerate 0-100 in scant 3.7 secs.
McLaren 570 GT, meet the GT version of McLaren 570 S.
ROLLS ROYCE, I can just spell it right!
The Rolls-Royce Dawn, a 4 seat convertible car.
New Rolls-Royce Black Badge models have modified version of the Rolls-Royce Ghost and Wraith designed to appeal to younger buyers and offer increased levels of personalization.
Geneva Motor Show – SUV’s
Audi Q2 the smallest in its class made its debut in Geneva Motor Show and is expected to be on the road in the UK from November 2016.
Spotted Nissan X-TRAIL Premium concept which comes with deep black carbon finish on hood and roof. Golden copper is also featured here, on the front skid plate as well as on the 20″ wheels.
Geneva Motor Show – All Time Favorite
European debut of the new 2016 Chevrolet Camaro Coupé 2.0T.
Ford Mustang Cabriolet was displayed here at Geneva Motor Show 2016. The iconic Ford Mustang made Indian debut in January this year.
Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang are all time favorites and generally have a thin line of comparison and are at their best when it comes to ruling your heart!

The next generation Honda Civic Hatchback made its global debut in prototype form.
Geneva Motor Show -TATA Motors
Tata HEXA is expected to be launched in June 2016; price ranging from Rs. 11 lakhs to Rs. 18 lakhs.
Tata Kite 5 is also expected to be launch this year October in India.
