Immune System Support Diet

All the rage this year is the immune system support diet, one that apparently helps you combat Covid19. While Covid is still on the ride, individuals worldwide are trying to lead a more healthy life. After the dietary guideline announcement from the World Health Organization, a new diet came to light. One that is packed with superfoods that can help boost your immune system in no time.

The diet focuses on all things packed with Vitamins, antioxidants, and other nutrients. Such as grapefruits, broccoli, nuts, avocados, elderberries, green tea, eggs, garlic, and so on. Focusing on a smarter system, the diet helps you pack various combinations that mix and match well with others. Focusing on a single goal will help you boost your immune system.

Plant-Based Flexitarian Diet

With veganism out the window, the plant-powered diet is all the rage these days. The diet focuses on consuming 90% of plant-based foods on a daily basis. However, it does not exclude free-range chicken or grass-fed meat options. Focusing solely on consuming foods that are derived from plant sources.

The diet plan commonly includes but is not limited to Pumpkin seeds, pea protein, hemp protein, almond protein, turmeric, reishi mushrooms, ashwagandha, and endless other plant-based options. It is widely believed that the diet is great for the plant as it leaves a smaller carbon footprint.

Paleo-Inspired Whole Foods Diet

The Paleo-inspired whole foods diet plan has been around for a decade and is still strong. The plan suggests we start eating as cavemen did, which includes foods such as berries, fish, chicken, meat, nuts, and other foods that are considered hunter-gathered. Moreover, the diet encourages individuals to take on high proteins that are grass-fed or free-range.

All the while eliminating food options related to grains, corn, wheat, sugar, and other processed foods. Think of it as taking a step back in time and cooking food over an open flame without condiments.

Intermittent Fasting

The diet plan is designed to help you lose weight more naturally. For instance, rather than spilling your meal, you will not consume any food during most of the day. Breaking the habit of constantly snacking helps you limit the time and food consumed.

Following a 16/8 method, it breaks up your day with a single rule. For instance, your eating period is 8 hours long. If you start eating at 1 pm, stop eating at 9 pm. For the remaining time of the day, you will fast and only consume water, green tea, or coffee/tea with little to no milk addition. The plan is to help you build a daily routine that calls for a single meal. Once you have set a routine, you will start losing weight and get back in shape.

DASH Diet

A healthy conscious plan was designed to help prevent high blood pressure and heart disease. Focusing mainly on your eating style and how you can make changes to achieve better health. Bring your sodium intake down to 2300 per day for beginners and 1500mg for intensive dieters. Additionally, the diet is loaded with healthy choices such as whole grains, fish, nuts, poultry, vegetables, and fruits.
